Welcome to the Crossrail Information Round pages.

Cross London Rail Links has further developed proposals for a western ticket hall for Whitechapel station and intends to submit these to Parliament so they can also be considered.

The revised proposals were presented from August 30, 2005 until September 30, 2005.

Details of the Ticket Hall scheme were on display at a Public Information Centre at Whitechapel on September 2 and 3. An Invitation leaflet was sent out beforehand locally.

The Crossrail Bill was submitted to Parliament in February 2005 and received its Second Reading in Parliament in July. Parliament has now given assent in principle to the proposals.
