The nature of the second round of the public engagement programme was decided by the Secretary of State for Transport who announced the scope of the scheme on the 20 July 2004.
The information round took place between August 5th and October 27th 2004 with Public Information Centres and Information Exchanges again being used to give local details as well as showing the whole route.
