Cross London Rail Links Ltd (CLRL) has announced the appointment of Clinton Leeks, OBE to the role of Corporate Affairs Director. He will join the organisation on 10 July 2006.
Mr Leeks joins CLRL from the North of England Refugee Service, where he was Operations Manager. His previous roles have included senior consultancy roles advising a wide range of UK and international businesses on government relations, procurement, business development, corporate PR and community relations issues.

He was also formerly a Director at the Hong Kong Airport Authority where he led the authority's external relations team in its relationships with Government, Sino-British Joint Liaison Group, the business, travel and tourism sectors, and political and community groups. He has also held various senior roles within the Hong Kong Government, and in the UK's Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Douglas Oakervee OBE, CLRL's Executive Chairman, said: 'Clinton is a top class professional who I know will help carry us through the coming phase of the railway, moving towards construction. His work on the Hong Kong Airport shows that he knows all about bringing a project in on time and on budget. He has a wide understanding of financial and business issues which will be of considerable benefit. He has a wealth of experience of dealing with all levels of society.'
