Further Environmental information available Crossrail has published more information relating to the Environmental Statement, published with the Crossrail Bill on 22 February. The Supplementary Environmental Statement (SES) and its Non technical summary (NTS) are available from May 26, 2005, for free inspection and sale from some Council offices and libraries along the route (see Locations for View, right), or direct from Cross London Rail Links (CLRL) at 50 Broadway, London SW1H 0RG. They are also available on the Bill supporting documents site, accessed from www.dft.gov.uk or www.crossrail.co.uk. Any comments about the further environmental information should be sent to the Secretary of State c/o Tim Neate, Consultation Manager, Department for Transport, Major Projects Division 3, Zone 2/08, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR (e-mail: crossrail@dft.gsi.gov.uk) on or before 8 July 2005. Comments on the further environmental information will be presented to parliament and published. 'These reports are designed to update people on current design work, correct errors in the ES and are in response to consultation work being carried out,' said Norman Haste, Chief Executive of Cross London Rail Links (CLRL). Safeguarding information for the whole route of Crossrail Line 1 is also now available on the Crossrail website.
