Crossrail Board appointments

By Peter MacLennan

Crossrail Limited today provided an update on appointments to the Crossrail Board.

Mathew Duncan has joined Crossrail as Finance Director; he became a member of the Crossrail Board on 9 October 2015 following David Allen’s decision to leave Crossrail to take up a role in the private sector.

Pam Alexander OBE has been appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director for a two-year term from 1 December 2015.

Current Non-Executive Director Michael Cassidy CBE has been re-appointed to the Crossrail Board for a further two-year term until August 2017.

Jayne McGivern stepped-down from the Board on 30 September 2015.

When Crossrail opens in 2018, it will increase central London's rail-based transport network capacity by 10 per cent and dramatically cut journey times across the city, bringing an extra 1.5m people to within 45 minutes of central London.
