Crossrail sites up for National Site Awards

Four Crossrail worksites are in the running for Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards recognising their exceptional standards of consideration towards neighbours, the workforce and the environment.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) is an independent, industry run scheme that aims to improve the image of construction. The scheme assesses and monitors sites against a code of practice and commits them to being clean, respectful, safe, environmentally conscious, responsible, accountable and overall, a good neighbour.
Worksites that scored in the top 7.5% of all registered UK sites are eligible for the awards.The Crossrail sites that are in the running are: Canary Wharf station, Westbourne Park advanced civils, Connaught Tunnel and Royal Oak portal.
Winners will be announced in March.
