Prime Minister David Cameron today visited Crossrail’s Westbourne Park site in west London to view the tunnel boring machine (TBM) ahead of Crossrail tunnelling commencing next month.

Crossrail today announced that it has been able to reduce the extent of land required for a major sub-station at Great Western Road in west London.

As a result of Crossrail’s efforts to reduce the size of the sub-station site, a building at 56 Great Western Road is no longer required.
