Current works at Bond Street station

Construction of the new Crossrail station at Bond Street got underway in 2010, with a programme of utility diversion works and the demolition of buildings above each of the ticket hall sites.

Two brand new ticket halls – at Hanover Square in the east and Davies Street in the west – have been designed with a carefully considered selection of material to create timeless and easily recognisable public spaces.

Davies Street ticket hall

Description of work:

Crossrail’s contractor will be undertaking a programme of urban realm works surrounding the western ticket hall from 25 June 2018. The works will be conducted in phases over the next few months on Weighhouse Street, Davies Street, South Molton Lane, Gilbert Street and St Anselm’s Place.

Description of work:

Crossrail’s contractor will be undertaking a programme of urban realm works surrounding the western ticket hall from 28 August 2018. To facilitate these works the hoarding surrounding the work site will need to be altered. Localised, periodic road and footpath closures and pedestrian diversions will also be implemented. These will be advised locally. Access to buildings will be maintained.
