Such changes to the project are made by publishing 'Amendment of Provisions' and in some cases require further environmental assessment work to be carried out and published.
An Amendment of Provisions Environmental Statement is now available and contains details on:
- Paddington Station
- Shorts Gardens (Camden)
- Whitechapel Station
- Basin Approach (Lowell Street Shaft)
- Bellmouth Passage (West India Docks South)
- Billingsgate Market
- Swallowfield Way (Hillingdon)
- Blyth Road (Hillingdon)
- Crow Lane (Havering)
- Blackwall Way and Limmo Peninsular (use of the river Lea for Barge loading and Holding areas)
- Manor Wharf (Bexley).
Other non-works amendments to the Bill are also proposed.

As with the Bill, those affected by the proposals in the amendment of provisions have the opportunity to petition against them.
Parliament has set a four week petitioning period ending on Tuesday 14 February 2006, in which those affected should submit their petitions to the Private Bill Office in the House of Commons.
