Three acitvities were hired from British Nuclear Group - they had been produced for an event called Science Challenge.
The 3 activities were:
Leaning Tower
A number of cylinders have to be built into a tower on a foam rubber base. The weighting of the blocks varies.
Two sets were used and visitors competed against each other.
Suspension Bridge
Wooden blocks are suspended, using chains of different lenghts, from a central support. Each block is paired thus creating a flat centrally supported bridge.
Two sets were used and visitors competed against each other.
Laser Lights
A laser beam is directed through a maze using mirrors and prisms.
When a target is reached an alarm sounds.
One set was used.
The TBMs will be guided using Lasers.
