Environment : Lorry Wheels

In order to keep the streets of London clean whilst the railway is being built, Crossrail will install automatic wheel washing machines at all of their worksites. All lorries and other vehicles leaving the sites will have to have their wheels cleaned thoroughly before being allowed to drive onto the surrounding roads.
