Projects : Skillcity 2005 : Stand Activity

Students at Stepney Green School, Tower Hamlets, were invitedtocarry out the task of producing a newsletter. Each day a group of 4 students, accompanied by a teacher, were due to attend on each day, except saturday. The students selected by the school were younger than students who had worked on Crossrail stands in the past.



To carry out the task the students group was supplied with:

• a briefing document;
• laptop with DTP software;
• digital camera;
• clip board and pens;
• Crossrail Tee shirts, for each student;
• Completion certificates for each student

Newsletters were produced on Wednesday and Thursday. The London bombings on 7th July 05, disrupted the Thursday newsletter and stopped production on the Friday.
